The White Widow Tetra (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi), also known as the White Skirt Tetra, is a peaceful, eye-catching freshwater fish with a pale, almost translucent body. Originally from rivers in South America, this fish is a color variant of the Black Skirt Tetra and is popular in community tanks.

Behavior: Peaceful and social; does best in groups of six or more. Suitable with other non-aggressive tank mates.
Tank Requirements: Minimum 15-20 gallons, with plants and hiding spots. Very adaptable fish.
