The Platinum White Gourami (Trichopodus trichopterus) is a selectively bred color form of the Three Spot Gourami. It has a solid white body, sometimes with vague greyish patterns and blue/ gold tinted fins. giving it an elegant look in the aquarium. Among all the colour forms of the Three Spot Gourami, this is definitely our favourite
Key Care Points:

Behavior: Generally peaceful, sometimes shows territorial behaviour with other gouramis but it isn't usually a huge concern. Does well in community tanks.

Tank Requirements: Prefers a planted aquarium with open swimming areas.

Diet: Omnivorous. Accepts flakes, pellets, and frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia.

Lifespan: Around 4–6 years.

Max Size: Reaches 5–6 inches (12–15 cm).

Growth Rate: Moderate; juveniles grow quickly to 2–3 inches, then slow down as they mature.
The Platinum White Gourami adds a bright, glowing presence to community tanks with its coloration.
