Golden Giant Gourami

The Golden Giant Gourami (Osphronemus goramy – gold morph) is a rare and visually stunning color variant of the classic Giant Gourami. With its broad, oval body and shimmering golden to creamy-yellow coloration, this fish stands out as a true centerpiece in large aquariums or indoor ponds. As it matures, the body becomes more robust and the head may develop a noticeable hump, especially in males.

• Behavior: Generally peaceful but can be territorial as it grows. Intelligent and interactive—many hobbyists report their gouramis recognizing and reacting to their presence.
