The Gold Three Spot Gourami (Trichopodus trichopterus), also known as the Gold Gourami, is a peaceful, hardy freshwater fish known for its unique gold body and three distinct spots. Originating from Southeast Asia, it’s popular in aquariums for its vibrant color and ease of care.

Behavior: Generally peaceful but can be territorial, especially with its own species. Best kept with other calm, similarly-sized tank mates.
Tank Requirements: Minimum 30 gallons with plenty of and hiding spots.
