The Celestial Pearl Danio (Danio margaritatus), also known as the Galaxy Rasbora or Microrasbora sp. 'Galaxy', is a small, brilliantly patterned cyprinid native to small ponds and marshes in Myanmar. First described in 2006, it quickly became a favorite in the hobby for its deep blue body sprinkled with pearly white spots and bright orange-red fins. Despite its tiny size, its vibrant appearance makes it stand out in nano aquariums.

Behavior & Swimming: Peaceful, best kept in groups of 6 or more. Males display brighter colors and may spar with each other harmlessly, while the school tends to stay in the mid-to-lower levels of the tank, weaving in and out of plants.

Diet: Omnivorous with a preference for small foods. Accepts quality micro-pellets and flakes and live/ frozen foods like daphnia, baby brine shrimp, and microworms.
